Wilding Community Film Screening

Join the Langholm Initiative for a screening of the inspiring story of Knepp. Based on the bestselling book by Isabella Tree.
Wilding tells the story of a young couple that bets on nature for the future of their failing, four-hundred-year-old estate. The young couple battles entrenched tradition, and dares to place the fate of their farm in the hands of nature. It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant nature restoration initiatives in Europe.
Tickets are being subsidised by the Langholm Initiative, but we are charging a small amount per ticket just help cover some of the running costs. To keep the event open and accessible for all we have a concessions and a ‘pay as you feel option’ on the ticket booking page.

Dark Skies Evening

We enjoyed the Dark Skies event back in March so much that we’ve decided to host another one!
While we can’t guarantee the sky will be clear enough to see the real stars, Hayden Goodfellow, local astrophysicist and science communicator, will be joining us again for another virtual tour of the universe, and if we’re lucky we can do some actual stargazing too!
Monday 14th October, 7-9pm at Cronksbank Farmhouse.
