Cronksbank Cottage refurbishment

We will shortly be going out for tender for the refurbishment of Cronksbank Cottage.

Basic information below regarding the works:

· The works will be subject to a full tender process, prepared by our QS

· Any contractor interested in tendering must be signed up to Fair Work

· Works include: new internal insulation, external insulation to the rear of the property, new air source heat pump and associated system, new kitchen, bathroom and utility room , new flooring as well as all general repairs to the building. External works will include upgrade to the track, fencing etc

· Whilst we hope to be going out to tender by end of July, the contractor will not be appointed until later on in the year. Once we have received tenders, we can then apply to the Rural Housing fund which will take several weeks so we anticipate that works will not start until the end of the year
